A high-school diploma is a key stepping stone into adulthood, but it often doesn't come close to preparing young people for the real world. Incorporating more trade certificate and artistic programs in our schools would give the younger generation a more well-rounded education that adequately prepares them to do great things in the real world. Rural Liberation will support efforts to do this in rural communities throughout the country, which often lack in these kinds of programs. Additionally. Rural Liberation supports decreasing classroom sizes by hiring more teachers to ensure that students get the attention they need.
Cost or lack of access to a physical campus should not be a barrier to getting an education. Rural Liberation will advocate to make higher education affordable or free where possible, including supporting the creation of satellite campuses and online degree programs.
