Clean energy is America's path towards an energy-independent future, be it independence from foreign oil when installed at utility-scale or independence from utility companies when installed at your residence.

Clean energy installed on a home provides the resident with independence from utility companies that continue to hike rates year after year. Clean energy installed for a business does the same. This serves as a hedge against the continuous price increases that utilities force upon their customers. In addition, Rural Liberation will advocate for pro-clean energy policies such as net metering to ensure that clean energy remains a monetarily worthwhile investment.

Rural Liberation is committed to fighting for utility-scale solar in a way that is practical and not invasive to our rural communities. We will advocate for solar over our parking lots, and also advocate for local, state, and federal level policies that support the development of agrivoltaics to ensure that our farmers are not hurt by large-scale solar farms coming in and buying up farmland. Additionally, we will support nuclear energy to unlock the full potential of clean energy on our planet.
